Reflections: If you could have a one-hour interview with any human being past or present, who would it be?

In every time period there have been important people to interview. Jesus would be on top of the list, but I'm sure many people would interview him to here the stories he had and his current viewpoint of the world. However, I would chose to interview Mahatma Gandhi. His viewpoint of the world would ever be crucial today. He dealt with the heart of people that would not change their views in world that was not open to the idea of freedom and Gandhi challenged them through protest. Still to his last days to his death he was fasting for peace within his nation. He was the Indian spokesmen for freedom without laying one hand on a person. They showed through determination and peaceful protest that will get what they desire and Gandhi would get them there. If there was ever a time his advice can be heard through the world with all our surmountable problems we have Gandhi would have the answer. We would have change in our world.

I would first ask him about his spiritual views on life and how his faith was strong? He had this amazing strength to keep on going with running on empty. He had this enormous amount to go through his life in pain and felt that way because he saw his world he knew suffer. Only if we had some of his strength maybe our world would improve. His viewpoint today would be an inspiration of many. Especially those who live in the suppressed countries of the world with ruthless dictators and especially with USA too. His passion for other people to succeed in life and live to their full potential is unheard of nowadays. People usually don't want people to get ahead in this time. His spiritual devotion made him the great leader he was.

Second, I would ask him how he would govern and change our government and various systems that are not working with the United States. Even though on the surface it maybe a good country and also it is more prosperous then previously. Still there is a lot of injustice in America. There are more rich than poor. When people are struggling on the streets and going to other peoples garbages trying to have their next meal, people who are rich are deciding to find out what next jewelry piece they are going to buy. Some may give, but some they don't care, they only care about those around them. Only if they are safe thats all that matters. People are not welcome who are poor in this country. We may have charity's but they only govern who gets what and many times the people working with them treat them harshly. Some people treat
