Do you remember. the Night I told you.
I have never seen so many stars in the sky.
I have been wondering. has my wish dream come true.
has the heavens and the past greeted my wish,
and made it true for you.
all those nights ago.
the birthday before.
two related in my mind.
you come into my life.
the first clear nights.
with a bright moon sky.
I see the white streaks
of wisdoms past
white filling the sky over the black blue black vast.
my only thoughts whilesh I talk to you.
wanting to hold you and stare up at the show of dreams and wishes.
my only wish upon the stars
was a wish for love, and to show me who it was when the time was right.
my last birthday
I was wish less and alone.
family around me with only one caring gift.
a card sloppy and cute. though not worth a cent to anyone but I.
it out weighed the meaningless gifts I received.
wish less till I started to blow.
the flames extinguished with one thought.
"I wish I was happy"
That night I cried with the sorrow held in my heart
few times ever my dreams rained with tears.
never before till, have I woke with my pillow,
wet from the rain and sorrows of my dreams.
pushed from my mind.
Has my wish come true?
you came into my life.
like a fire on a rocky shore during a dense fog.
I sailed on risking all.
not knowing the rocks of your heart
that could sink mine.
we learned eachother
we told eachother
we fell together.
I became happy,
happier that I have ever been.
the first clear night we talked
the stars filled the skies
never before have the stars been soo bright
nor have they fallen so brightly and many.
I pray thanking for everything and Her,
thanking that she has come into my life and
my greatest friend came to her
and asked to take care of me.
like a father talking to his daughters date
whom he sees a future together.
have these been wishes come true.
have these been the signs I asked for.
have these been the signs showing
she is my true love?
happieness, brighter nights,
thousands of stars falling,
my father visiting after a prayer.
could these be the signs I asked for?
have my wishes... my dreams come true?
