We danced to the songs of a genius in action,
Our souls reached new heights not known before.
If only we'd known you, just a mere fraction,
While you drifted alone from shore to shore.
Your heart's hidden burdens could only reveal,
A sensitive nature not seen by the world.
Perhaps now you're resting at peace with yourself,
Where no one can hurt you or capitalize your wealth.
A fluffy white cloud to sit and observe,
Or ponder the reason you were put on this earth.
For now you are absent in physical form,
But your music goes on, as if reborn,
In the hearts and the minds of your loyal fans,
Who remember the boy and still love the man.
