Phone call.
I called Mum and Dad earlier,
they were washing all the cups
they possessed, and saucers.
It was nice to chat with them,
we talked, halcyon days, and summer trips.
As we often seem to do.
Illnesses seem to be on an increase,
and new medications work, but create
new dilemmas, cramps and headaches.
They pointed out the need for clean cups,
and saucers, was to save time when
all gathered to comfort, the remaining mourner.
