Murray pawed at the front door, crying just a little to let his owner know he needed to go outside. It didn't take her long to come see what he wanted. She usually leashed him but for some reason today she didn't. She knelt beside him and petted him for a minute and said something in human that he didn't understand. "Murray, you're a big dog now and I'm going to trust you to go outside and stay in the yard. Please don't run off."

Then she opened the door and let him outside. He walked down the steps with slight concern and turned back to look at her. She was saying something else in human. "I mean it Murray, stay in the yard!" Murray finally decided she must be crazy but who was he to question. It was George and he was running at them full stride! Murray knew he had to do something - and quick because otherwise he might hurt her and Murray was not going to let that happen! Murray turned and ran at George, matching him stride for stride. When he reached the end of his leash he just kept going, pulling her with him, nearly dragging her to the ground. Murray was sorry about that - he would apologize later but right now George had to be dealt with! When he reached George they dove head first into one another, biting, clawing, growling and barking the whole time. She started screaming, like she thought George was hurting Murray or something. It didn't take long for Murray to realize his mistake. You can't drag a human into a dog fight. They just don't understand what is going on. Clearly she was scared because she was
