Don't you love FREE softwares? They're one of the best things on the internet! Well, people always love the bests, and if possible, the best of the bests. So here's my list of the best free softwares. Listed here are only softwares I have tried.

For Dekstop Utilities, I highly recommend ObjectDock. It will make your desktop easier to use, and fancier to look at. The configuration settings are easy to set up. Always remember to read the manual or the help file! It will teach you a lot of tricks on how to use a program.

Another one for Desktop utilities will be the StickyNote! I have always been a fan of sticky notes, and it does make life easier. It's easy to install and easy to use, and best of all, it's free.

For Documents, Microsoft Office has been the most common program for it, except that, it's $329.95 (That's MS Office Professional 2007). Who would want to pay that big, when we can have OpenOffice? Open office can process documents and presentations all for free. It is almost identical to MS Office so it's user-friendly. It's easy to fall in love with it.

Photo editor is a must when you have a computer. If it's just for personal use, there are a lot of good photo editors to choose from. Picasa - I personally use Picasa and I like it. It's easy to use with great photo enhancement features. It's also great when uploading your pictures, cause it comes with an online photo storage of 1 G from Google. On the other hand, I have heard alot about Photoscape. They say it's a good one. I just tried it today and I can't really say I like it more than Picasa, it's just that Photoscape has more features than Picasa. With Photoscape, you can make animated GIF but not with Picasa. It also has a wider range of features than Picasa. Take your pic.

Now, let's go to video editor. Video editing is fun and relaxing. You can express your inner self with creativity. And because of that, we all deserve a free video editing tool, which is, the number 1: Windows Movie Maker. You read that right. That's my number 1 pick, when it comes to free video editing. Why? It's easy to use, so easy almost all everyone can make a good video in 1-2-3 steps. Another thing is, with just this tool, you can convert Gigabytes of videos to Megabytes. I don't know how Microsoft does that but it's somehow amazing, try it yourself.

A computer will never be good without protection, so let's go to Anti-virus. I have tried Avast, Norton, Kaspersky - But I've always come back to AVG - I had this terrible virus on my computer while I was using Avast. Avast couldn't even delete the virus, so I tried installing other Anti-virus. First one I tried was Norton, which made the situation worst. I got Kaspersky that actually just slowed down my computer without harming the virus. When I got AVG - wow. It was amazing, it just automatically detected the virus and deleted it. I had no problems with my computer since then.

So far, these are the free programs I've been using. I've I stumble upon something new, I'll write about it here.
