When I looked into your eyes, I saw into your heart.
I saw love in it's purest form.
One that was nonjudgmental, and receptive.
When I looked into your eyes, I watched admiration, transform.
You captured my dreams and hopes, and held them tight in your grasp.
Only allowing enough room for me to breath.
You saw my imperfections and wrapped your arms around me and held on tight.
You drew me deeper in, and soon I was a prisoner. I could see no way out.
I was locked deep in my emotions and yearned to be with you.
I had a glimpse of what life could be like, with you in it. Then without warning, you withdrew. You slipped into the solitude of your own life, without thinking of the damage you were doing in mine.
I watched in awe, as my life was transformed, from smiles from my heart, to overwhelming sadness. And there was nothing I could do. I was encased by all the love in my heart for you, and held prisoner. No logic came into play. No excuse was good enough. I held on tight.
I watched as my heart was being torn to shreads and couldn't believe you could do that to me.
Empty words spoken, promises broken, betrayal.
The "what ifs" came into play. "What if you really love me?" "What if you don't?". Life is not based on ifs. Life is not based on building my own dreams, on the promise of another. A life built around hurting someone else, to gain my dreams and desires, is not an option.
How we react to any given situation, always affects the outcome. There is always a reaction to an action, and a consequence for all actions. Whether it be good or bad.
When I looked into your eyes, I saw a man who tries to justify his life, by ignoring the feelings of others. One who does not realize the fine line between love and hate. Love in it's purest form is the most beautiful emotion we can share. But, when it is violated and tested, can become bitter and build into hate.
When I looked into your eyes, I wanted to see a heart that was pure, and one that was willing to let go. I wanted to know without any doubt that those three words held meaning.
Roses sent, time spent, explaining. Heartfelt plea's and empty words, a flash back in time. I walked away from my pride, from my happiness, to hold on to empty dreams. I sacrificed my morals, my hope, and watched as you maintained control.
I am taking, my life back. You will always have a part of me, one you should cherish, as few have ever felt the intenseness of someone loving as deeply as I did. You crossed the line, you forced me to awaken

Jealous, I storm into the room with exclamation points,
and drag you down with question marks.
Coldly, you answer and slay

I had given you my heart
and you took it away
with you into
a world unknown
You said you would

Drowning again: this time in blood,
In over your head: Don't give up.
Breathe in deep,
Hold your breath.
A kind of poison thrust into my veins
My broken heart thereof in pain
If I had a bad memory I couldn't forget
For even in
