President Obama has promised us transparency, and he has tried to provide this when necessary. For example, the most crucial issue (other than employment) is a universal health care program. When he tried to get something through by September, he was blocked by some people who were against him for no reason. He was, in fact, transparent regarding his health care but was unable to get it through. Now, he is shooting for December.

President Obama does keep the people informed and because everything is out-of-hand, so to speak regarding the economy, etc., things are moving fast. We must just have trust in our President that he is attempting to get our world back into order, because "the boat is sinking." We will all go down together if he does not meet with his cabinet and move on.

President Obama has not been given a chance to prove himself. We must allow him to pass some of the bills rather than to continue to scrutinize everything he does. We must remember that President Obama was left numerous problems from the last administration's eight years.

Is it possible to be transparent regarding Iraq and Afghanistan when the fighting has accelerated? Because we are being protected, the most important people will make the military decisions, including Hilliary Clinton, Secretary of State.

His Press Secretary conducts weekly meetings where questions are asked about most topics. Of course, there are some subjects that are classified that the public should not know. For example, one man who shot a number of students at a college is alleged to have said he thought President Obama was going to take his guns away. He thought he would be unable to protect himself when that was untrue.

This is just one example as to why some things have to be classified, discussed with the proper governmental departments, and then passed. There are crazy people just awaiting to see where they can fit it!

President Obama continues to have town halls in many states. I don't remember any administration holding as many town halls. Many of his constituents have taken emotional abuse from some of the people in attendance. Irate people have even been in attendance with guns and knives, for some reason, and one person was arrested.

Some people believe President Obama is being too transparent, that people should not need the number of town halls to pass a health care bill that will help everyone. President Obama also held open forums on C-SPAN to discuss the economic recovery plans and the stimulus package.

Let us allow President Obama to perform his role as best as he can. To make an analogy, if surgeons have emergency situations, sometimes they make the best surgical procedure in an attempt to save a life. President Obama cannot always share every detail with the public or the media. We should trust that he is doing the best job to keep our economy alive as well as to keep us safe.
