I think there was a time
when I knew that life should never be this way.
Yet, somehow, I must have forgotten...
I am alive.
My heart still beats.
I take a deep breath,
so I know I can breathe.
But it's not enough.
I've tasted something so sweet.
Immersed in a secret world,
plummeting down the rabbit hole,
eyes wide open
(so aware),
I want more.

Just want some time away from the constant hustle and bustle.

No, I can't hear.
In case you haven't noticed,
There is a large wall between your face and my ear.
Within This Pale Realm
Inside this darkling night
of slumberless dreams descending,
hyacinth wings fold around me.

Creeping out in the middle of the night
just to think, just to be alone
no peace ever comes, nothing changes
