Juventus' new signings, the two Brazilian stars, midfielder Diego Ribas de Cunha and fellow countryman Felipe Melo shun bright in the ancient city of Rome and defeating AS Roma by a an impressive score of 3-1 in Olympic stadium.

Midfielder Marco Cassetti horrendously commits a dreadful defensive blunder, which normally should be a routinely controlled but the Italian was not able to as Diego steals and is off to the race. The Brazilian playmaker was the goal scorer this time as the ex-Werder Bremen man rockets from midfield toward the Roma goal, muscling off the challenge from Riise, and delicately pokes it behind goalkeeper Julio Sergio Bratagnoli in the 25th minute.

About 10 minutes later, Roma get the equalizer from a sizzling strike from Daniele De Rossi. Taddei with the quickly taken free kick lays it off for De Rossi, who delivers an absolutely stunning lightning strike from distance hitting the back of the top-right corner.

Striker Olivera Carvalho de Amauri had two glorious chances a bit before the end of the first-half. The Italian nationalized Brazilian-born made himself available inside the area, deflecting the free kick from Diego. The second effort was far closer than his first. Amauri fired a well-struck shot, looking for placement rather than electing power behind as the swerving ball goalward rebounds off the post.

Quite possibly the beast chance of the half came from Roma's Francesco Totti in the last few remaining seconds right before the end of the first-half.

The majority of the second half was entirely played in Roma's end. Juve just overwhelmingly dominated the opposition in the midfield and thusly created chance after chance from Amauri, Iaquinta, and Diego before Roma's scoring opportunity.

Within the first 10 minutes, Melo delivers in an accurate diagonal cross from the left by Melo, finding Amauri as the ex-Palermo striker chests and fires a hard-driven low strike toward goal as Sergio was equal, parrying the shot out.

Diego sends Iaquinta into the box with a delightful chip as the former Udinese star brilliantly hops over the sliding challenge of Riise from a difficult angle, lofting shot over the net.

On 66 minutes, Juve's young prospect, defender Paolo de Ceglie, 23, delivers in a well-placed inswinging cross from the left to finding the high-jumping Amauri, who sees his thumping header stopped by the Roma goalkeeper.

In the 67th minute, Iaquinta returns the favour for the creative Brazilian with another magic goal this time displaying
