Poetry: About friendship

by Bushra Khan

Created on: February 10, 2007   Last Updated: May 14, 2007

A starry night,
To each eye was a delight,
Three wonderful girls stood,
Reflecting the innocence
of their childhood

They were my friends, my sisters
Standing by each other,
Through sorrow and joy
Sharing happiness,
Sharing bliss

Laughter, tinkling,
Innocence, shining
Love for each other
Hearts satisfied

It is no wonder,
There is no doubt
We shall be always,
Together forever,
In every time
Springtime, summertime,
Or the winter sublime
