he averts his eyes to watch my birth into this world he smiles and takes the moment in just before turning over my hour glass his focus returns his time constantly occupied in watching so many others others being pulled into this world others exiting he means no harm he hasn't a grain of hate with-in him he just does his job from moment to moment at times we have impeded him with medicine and health care at times we have overburdened him with the violence of our nature at times we fear him, at times we welcome him at times we find a resolve with him, at times we are dragged away he is always present, watching us all constantly turning over hour glasses
