How to make (and not lose) money by gambling

Simple Gambling Tips

There IS a way to make money while gambling. But you must remember this one rule. You will ALWAYS lose money, it's just part of the system. However you CAN make more than you lose by following these basic steps.

RULE ONE simply is, play a game you don't suck at. Time to face reality, if you're good at black jack then play black jack. Ignore the poker world series and all your friends talking about it. If you only played poker two or three times with your friends then maybe risking your black chips at the poker tables isn't the best move. Instead try your luck at what you know best.

This brings up to RULE TWO. Don't compete with the high rollers. Only play with a set amount of money. Don't use more money than you can stand to lose. If you're not comfortable spending $400 on craps then DON'T. No matter how glamorous it looks and no matter how important you feel, it's your money and no one else's. Remember that these casinos are a quick way to make a buck....FROM you not FOR you. The casinos aren't in the business of losing money no matter what you think.

This leads us to RULE THREE. Know when to call it quits. The first reason for this is because you want to make more than you lose. Losing is inevitable so quitting while you're ahead is a smart move. The second reason for this is simply you don't want to develop a gambling problem. It's easy to get annoyed and pull out another $60 from the ATM. But those ATM trips add up and before you know it you spent more than you're comfortable with spending. No matter how many flashing lights you see, remember your still spending your hard earned money. Don't get caught up in the hype and forget that this money is YOURS.

These three tips will help you more than you think. Simple to remember. Don't gamble at a game you're terrible at, don't over spend, and quit while you're ahead. Using these three tips in moderation will always have you walk out with stride instead of near tears. Never forget that casinos are built to take your money more often than give you money. The lights, women and the overall atmosphere is made to hypnotize you. It's easy to get caught up in the hype and lose control. DON'T. Gamble at your favorite game and make a few bucks. If you lose you lose, just don't take it personally and end up selling your shoes, watch, and ticket to get back home. If you're not having fun then it's time to go. All the people you're trying to impress aren't worrying about your bills, but you should.
