Laughter!

Complete Spaz, is what my boyfriend calls me! I go into these uncontrollable laughing fits that would absolutely make you chuckle with laughter too. I don't laugh very much, being busy with everyday stresses but when I do laugh, oh boy watch out. Every since getting asked to leave the classroom in high school because of my laughing fits, I have never been able to control the laughter when I think something is funny.

Tears roll down my face as I am gasping for air when I laugh. I would really like to record myself someday. I have a funny story to tell all of you readers out there. Hopefully, it is a funny story and I hope I 'm not the only person who laughs my butt off. I am a laughing nutcase. Keep in mind the saying, "you just had to be there."

The other day, I was doing some laundry at our local Laundromat and my eight year old daughter usually always does laundry with me. She kept going over to a locked maintenance closet and wiggling the door knob. I just thought she was bored and needed something to do. Being serious as can be she strolled over to me and grasped the bottom of my shirt with her little hands. She had this really scared look on her face. I was very busy and wasn't sure what she was up too. I continued with the laundry that really needed to be done.

After placing all of the dirty laundry into the washing machines, I noticed my daughter over by the maintenance closet again. She was pulling at the door, trying to open it. She rushed over to me and asked me with a scared tone, "Mom, why is the maid locked in the closet?" Before I was able to answer her, I busted out into laughter. Trying to catch my breath as I was remembering the past Laundromat visits. I remembered that the cleaning lady had always went in and out of that closet while she was cleaning the Laundromat. The maintenance door led to another room that had a different exit door leading to outside.

It turns out that my daughter thought that the cleaning lady lived and or was locked in the maintenance closet. After laughing for hours, at home I finally had calmed down enough to explain to my daughter that the maid wasn't locked in the closet and that cleaning the Laundromat was her job. "She get's to really go home when her job is done," I explained to my daughter trying to hold a straight and serious look.

It has been a couple of days now and I am still laughing about the same incident. This article has taken me forever to write considering the laughing breaks that I have taken in the mean time. Isn't it funny, how little stories and incidents can make somebody laugh so hard? I am a laughing Spaz! I don't know what I would do if there wasn't humor in our life.
