Poetry: Mentors

by Larry Powers

Created on: August 30, 2009

Cicerones

Marked trails provided passage through the wilderness.
Escorts piloted me through unknown territories;
Navigators steered me through treacherous storms.
Teachers walked me through halls of education,
Opening my mind to treasures hidden within books.
Reiterating, patiently, mentors have brought me thus far.

An acrostic poem
