Poetry: The unknown

by Elizabeth M Young

Created on: August 30, 2009

As a glass with a glaze
The contents secluded
But just a little visible
Some color
Some height
Some movement

As a pool with river water
The underworld clouded
With plenty of the stuff of life
Some faces
A man
Some promise

As a cliff in the cool blue fog
A dreadful and long fall
Or maybe just a tiny leap
Some sound there
Beckoning
