I'm a Pepper, You're a Pepper, Wouldn't you like to be a Pepper too? Wow, that line sure brings back memories of the old Dr. Pepper commercials I used to watch as a kid. Those commercials were on long before I even touched a Dr. Pepper to my lips.
Hands down, Dr. Pepper is the best soft drink out there. I have been drinking Dr. Pepper for a lot of years now and would consider myself totally addicted. I can't remember where or when I first started drinking Dr. Pepper, but boy am I glad I did. The aroma and fizz when you pop open a can is amazingly refreshing. It makes my day just thinking of having a big cold glass of this liquid heaven.
I find myself heading to the store more often to buy my 2 liter bottle of Dr. Pepper, and have even been known to hide the bottle in the refrigerator in the garage just so nobody else in the house can get to it before I do. It is a really bad day when I get to the soda aisle and find that it has sold out. I must not be the only Dr. Pepper addict in my town because it has been sold out a lot lately. While I know this behavior isn't very healthy, I just can't help myself.
I remember having a lip smacker in this flavor when I was in Junior High. Maybe that is what sparked my interest. Even in a lipstick the smell of Dr. Pepper is irresistible. I did share my smackers with my friends, so my addiction must not have been as strong back then. My teenage son is now feeling the pull of that Pepper urge, and my daughter is the proud owner of not one, but two Dr. Pepper lip smackers.
I think I must have been born a Pepper. If you are a Coke or Pepsi fan you need to try Dr. Pepper for yourself. Maybe you haven't had Dr. Pepper for awhile and need to refresh your memory of just how good it really is. One smell, one taste, one ice cold glass and you my friend will be a Pepper too. Run, don't walk, to the nearest store and pick up a bottle......wait....what town do you live in? If it is my town maybe you should get a Mountain Dew instead.
