I Don't Have Time To Be this Busy ...
(I'm Too Tired To Feel This Busy)
I don't have time to be this busy.
Working so hard makes me tired and dizzy.
There has to be a way to stop this frantic mess.
So I don't have to put up with such chaos and stress.
The days are all busy running into each other.
The problems keep coming one right after the other.
Why don't they all just get it right in the first place.
Don't they get tired of going in circles with the rest of the rat race?
The work keeps coming as they place it in piles.
I work hard to get it all done and into the files.
The work keeps coming as they place it in stacks.
I work hard to get it all done before it slips through the cracks.
I work hard to maintain some kind of order.
Before things get jumbled and slip over the border.
The work keeps coming as they put it in heaps.
I work hard to get it all done before the time clock beeps.
But still the work keeps coming as they place it in lots.
I'm so tired from working I'm starting to see dots.
Oh when can I go home and get some much needed rest?
Just to start all over tomorrow on the same ole' quest.

Poetry: No time
Time cannot be lost
Just simply forgotten
After hour and after day
We strive on, downtrodden
Walking past the past

because I'd invented
a clever little machine.

Who has got the time to think?
There are dishes in the sink
And laundry on the brink
Of becoming quite a
I reflect on memories of the past
I realize there is no time
To absently waste our tomorrows
To look for what we can not find
Knowing
EPIC GLORY
There is no time
for the mind
to whisper in silence
crouched
in anticipation
for flight
and to do
what no man
