Ruined by the Gun
Fun in the sun
until somebody whips out a gun.
Shots fired
and everybody's on the run.
My cousin gets shot,
a good kid who never touched pot
(Just in the wrong place, wrong time).
I'll miss him a lot.
Another bullet rips my spine
and I fall below a stop sign.
I know I won't walk,
and this is worse than dyin'

girls fought, no police was called
making them criminals
Fist fight,
I did
I made you promises
I swore them true
I slipped, I failed and
I hurt you
I can't say sorry
I can't ask you to
