Senator Barack Obama has decided to enter the 2008 Presidential race. I believe that his presence will help the country have a more open, honest, and thoughtful discussion of politics, instead of punditry and bumper-sticker phrases that are misleading and unproductive in public opinion.
He's handsome, young, smart, charismatic, but so inexperienced, we should feel jittery about having him in the Oval Office, but in a way he is more experienced than the other presidential candidates. So, Obama may lack experience at the very top of the ladder, but what set's him apart, is that he has received everyday "street wise, been there, keeping it real, strategies," which makes him rich in experience and wisdom, thank you very much!
Barack Obama is our future. Maybe not as President, he may not even stay in the Senate, but he represents the future by recalling the best of the past, when there was a bi-partisanship based on trust, something that seems no longer to exist.
In a world filled with chaos, wars, and all manner of suffering, Senator Obama once again inspires not only Americans, but every member of the human family living on this planet, with a real sense of hope for the future! He speaks to those of us who long for civility in our governmental and personal lives. No matter what job he may hold in the future, the success of his ideas is vital to the continuing success of our Nation.
A brilliant writer and thinker, as well as a sincere and dedicated public servant, Senator Obama shows us a way to heal the wounds of divisiveness and hatred and move on toward the soul-based sense of wholeness the common people so desperately want and need.
A unifier by nature, he is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise politically polluted, society, and I wish him every success in continuing his dedicated service to humanity across the globe.
If America can heal from the nightmare of these past 6 years, the rest of the world will be a better place. Inexperienced yes, but oh so wise. God Bless Barack Obama for caring enough for "all" people. Those not opposed to using their minds, their hearts and souls.
