Stephen Foster
Stephen Foster wrote a song
"Hard Times, Come Again No More".
He understood the slows and lows
Of life where pain seem always to endure.
Foster had a heart for anguish,
Compassion for the poor;

But something I dread more;
Tis' those who say
They know a way
To keep us all secure
And with straight face
Urge us embrace
Their surefire, all-time cure.
