Clown Sneaks Through Town
Thursday the newspaper
Carried this teaser
Down in the left hand corner;
"Coverage Friday of Senator X"
(He's a sourfaced geezer).
I got in about eight,
Thought I'd check the press
"What time and where tomorrow?"
"No, closed meeting today. Only the press."
I hung up, in sorrow.
So the media's great
For covering up
The In Crowd's peccadillo's.
They push Santa and the Easter Bunny.
X too, fakes come in trios?
