Fantasy World Vacation Resort; Kissimmee, FL

Planning a vacation to Orlando, Florida can be overwhelming; especially when choosing the right hotel. Over the years, my husband and I have tried numerous hotels; constantly searching for the perfect place to bask in that fantastic Florida sunshine. We enjoy having lots of space, so we were attracted to suites and villas, but not necessarily the price tag. Then we discovered the Fantasy World Vacation Villas in Kissimmee, Fl.

Fantasy World Vacation Villas are located on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, just off of Vineland Rd. and minutes from the Walt Disney World Resort. As we are avid Disney fans, this close proximity to Mickey was a plus for us! Fantasy World offered two-story Mediterranean-style villas that could accommodate up to six people. When I checked their rates, I was astonished at how affordable they were. We booked our first stay during our honeymoon in 2003. Since that time, we have visited the resort on an almost yearly basis, and are always excited when the resort has completed new renovations or updates.

When we checked in, the staff was friendly and professional. Our villa was beautiful and came complete with a full kitchen, dining room, living room, screened lanai, and even a washer and dryer upstairs. I would no longer have to lug our dirty clothes to a resort laundry room or worry about the cost of having them laundered professionally. The villa included a small bathroom with shower downstairs, and two bedrooms and master bath upstairs. The dining room and living room are nicely furnished and include a large television and small entertainment center. The sofa folds out into a double bed, which is wonderful to have for larger traveling groups, or overnight visitors.

The full kitchen is one my favorite perks of this resort. With a full refrigerator, freezer, stove range, oven and microwave; plus all tools, utensils and plates, it is easy to cook delicious meals at home and save money. Most guests of the Walt Disney World Resort know just how expensive meals inside the parks and resort hotels can be, so any chance to save money is highly valued!

The master bedroom offers plenty of space, a comfortable bed, adequate closet space, and a television on the dresser. The rooms are decorated in a fun, tropical floral print, which really adds to the feeling of vacationing in sunny Florida! The guest room, just next door, offers two twin beds, a large closet, and another television set on the dresser.
