Depressive disorder, can you recognize it?

If one is constantly depressed and down, it can cause a deep depressive disorder. That, on the other hand is poison to ones state of mind in future. People just don’t identify symptoms so easily; they just keep on going like as they were "sleep walkers". They usually end up going in circles with their issues that caused their depression. Getting out from this kind of serious condition is not so easy that people might think. At first, one should recognize the symptom. After that, starts the fighting. It is depending on a person how to overcome. Some can, for a fact, heal by themselves, if they can go through their issues, learns why stuff is bothering their mind and learns how to deal with them. The point is: deal with it, forgive, forget and move on! So easy to write down but, how is it in real life? Some, in the other hand, are so lost and finished, that their only help for recovery would be meetings with a consultant. Some are so "closed down", they just don't understand, and that they need help.So how do you detect symptoms of these disorders?

Ask yourself: when did I smile last time? Do I usually smile? Do I care for myself and others? Do I want to go out and meet people? Take a look in your home. Is it tidy? Look at yourself in the mirror and see if you have been taken care of yourself. Depressed people often ignores personal hygiene and their homes are often untidy and messy.
Is it only up in the morning, go to work, go to the shops, make dinner, shower, get to bed and rise and shine all over again? Or are you missing these things? It's time for you to decide what you want with your life! If you don't wake up now, you can cause serious problems, and in the end you can bring harm to others too, want it or not!

As an outsider, stop for a minute and take a look at your friend. Has he/she become tardy, angry or stopped meeting or talking to you. Are he/she almost all the time by him/her self without socializing at all? Then you, a close friend, should act! Try to get to meet your friend, ask him/her out for coffee or something small. This could be a big thing at the end! It's up to you how you want to bring out the issue! Just be straight and shoot it out, or beat about the bush, no Mather as long as you get to the problem. You might experience some resistance and in cases anger too, but don't mind, you are doing this for your best friend, not for yourself. Your friend will finally thank you for this!
