For years and years it had been just one,
thoughts of two were more like none.
One walk on one narrow path,
left behind one set of tracks.
One heart, one voice, and one mind,
one in search of one to find.
Ones the loneliest number around,
ones lost, ones needing to be found.
Two hearts that shared the same beat,
walked two different paths not knowing they'd meet.
When one seen one at there paths end,
one had no thought of what would begin.
One found one out of the blue,
then came thoughts one never knew.
One never thought about finding another,
even though one plus one equals two lovers.
There two souls connected and so they dare,
too walk a path that two will share.
Two minds are addicted to one another,
a million ones, but none like the other.
Together there two times better then one,
if one was without the other then two would be done.
One stands strong but not stronger then two,
ones the foundation and one acts as the glue.
Alone there one but together there two,
sharing in a love one knows to be true.
One completes one as two become whole,
combining two body's that make up one soul.
Now two stand alone at the start of one path,
A path to a future with two sets of tracks.

TWO HEARTS
Two hearts alone in solitude
Making one heart full of both
Two hearts coming together
Under just one solemn oath
When in the darkness your body lingers,
a ghostly form next to mine, warm but not
warming my skin, I die a little there,
