One foot out the door,
on my way to so much more.
Bigger and better things,
like the fulfillment of all my dreams.
Everything I've said I've done,
floats on as a legend.
Just to touch one person,
is more then reimbursement.
For a few words passed through time,
I'll be that star that shines.
Shining high above,
I'll twinkle when people speak of love.
And years after my body lay in a crypt,
my words will still flow right off your lips.
My message to leave behind,
don't search questions with answers you'll never find.
Words travel like birds,
so don't trust anything you've heard.
and no matter what could possibly be,
you can only believe half of what you see.
To yourself you must be true,
because in this life all you have is you.
Knowing yourself will guide you so far,
leaving you a legend in the stars.
