Maybe next year
I'll keep the promises.
Promises made to myself
every year.
I will do this,
will not do that.
Maybe next year.
Maybe next year
I'll see a change
and stop hating
the reflection
that has stared back at me
everyday this year.
Maybe, just maybe,
next year.
Maybe next year
the courage will appear
the willpower, the strength
and at last I'll be alive
finally
after being dead
for all these years.
Maybe next year.
