Beauty in women is a compelling gauge of a society's moral standards. Just like how a particular society may treat its people or environment, how a society treats its women - beautiful women in particular, is a measure of their values and integrity. Beauty in itself is a good thing. Like money or power, it can be used to achieve something good. Most of the time though, people use it to their own advantage.
Beauty is in everything and without it life would be so dull with nothing to aspire to. Although, I am impressed not only with a woman's physical beauty but also her wonderful personality and beliefs that I can relate to such as regard for family, community and worthy causes. No, I'm not just talking about Angelina Jolie. I'm talking about women from all walks of life who have inspired me to try and achieve even just some of the things they have already accomplished.
Beautiful women challenge others to be beautiful
People are naturally competitive. It's not soon after someone pretty enters a scene that others step up their own looks as well. This is quite common given any setting whether in school, at the office or at home. Whenever someone gets a new haircut, other women also think about getting their hair done. in the 60's, Marilyn Monroe inspired women to mimic her look as did former first lady Jackie Kennedy. I believe it's a natural aspiration for women to become beautiful.
Although, not everyone is quite ready to take that beauty challenge. Beautiful women are often attacked by their female peers because they make them look bad. Granted that society and the media keeps on mandating what a beautiful woman should look like it's so hard to keep up and it's so much easier to drop the ball on it.
I believe that society's criticism of women should not be reason enough to stop finding our own perfection. Each of us have a personality we have yet to realize. Aside from beauty, our dreams for our family and community should not be hindered by the bitterness of select people. Once women are more united against the criticisms that society dumps on them, we will be breaking plenty more barriers in many aspects of life just like how the women before us did - and made it happen.
Aspire others to reach their full potential
Beautiful people are not only found in movies or magazines as most would have you believe. There are plenty of beautiful women in other worthy pursuits such as in sports, politics, or business. I'm sure you can find pretty women in your own office who
