A Mirror Cinquain* for a Girl.

The one
is slumbering
beside you, breathing on
your chest; the endless prelude to
a kiss
The kiss.
Not one, those countless stars, can bless.
Still, you wish upon them.
And there it burns.
Always

*A Mirror Cinquain is a form with two 5 line stanzas consisting of a Cinquain (syllabic: 2/4/6/8/2) followed by a reverse Cinquain.
