The tears you have brought will never really be lost
They will stay with me like a cold winters frost
I don't know how many times you've tried
Or how many times you have touched that bottle and lied
But i do know this for sure
For the pain you will cause there is no real cure
You've already lost them do you want to lose me
I have tears in my voice with every strained plea
This is your last chance to show me your strong
And not a chance to tell me that I'm wrong
You need to face life and take your foot off the throttle
Do it for me dad and put down the bottle
