I never really knew how hard it would be
Finding someone who will just listen, hold, and love me
My search is still on but I'm growing weak
Watching everyone else love just makes my life seem so bleak
I'm finding it harder and harder to cope
After it died, my last glimmer of hope
After countless times listening to every love song
Maybe love plus me just equals wrong
My imagination fools my heart into thinking love is still out there
Afraid of rejection, i wouldn't dare
I wish my heart could only see
That i am destined to be lonely

Poetry: A lack of love
It feels like I've lost a brother
Said goodbye to the one and only lover I'll ever be blessed to know
And why...
Why is

Love's Loser
Diedre seemed in reach,
When I found her at the beach.
But it didn't go as planned,
'Cause there was too much
by Clinton Bell
My heart like a desert
Vapid
Mundane
Without reason or care
Monotony blows with the sand
Cutting the crust of my naked
Love is Not
A child, unwanted, sits on the stair,
Hungry, ragged, and alone
While Mother's lover haunts his lair,
For
She said don't temper this flame
Or I'll burn you with something as cliched
As a cigarette
to the heart
to the rib cage
