A lot of people may assume that if you are intelligent, it is easy to be successful and accumulate the riches that you want. It may be true that knowledge may help us get better paying job, be able to think of a feasible business, or get us to climb the corporate ladder, but we should also realize that intelligence is not everything we need to be successful.There are still the other factors of hard work, patience, instinct, guts, and luck. Tackling both scenarios will show us that being born rich is better than being born intelligent.

If you are born poor, you may not have enough resources to go to the best school to learn and improve. Intelligence may be the factor that makes a person easier to grasp and understand things, interpret situations, and think ahead of his peers, but without money you'll be unable to put your dreams into reality. How many people do we know and see that have the smarts but somehow are stuck in the job they are in? How many people are there that are well educated but can't even find a decent job? How many intelligent individuals may want to open up a business but doesn't have the needed investment? Even with intelligence, if you are poor, you lack the connections to do want you want. Being smart is a huge factor to help us in getting ahead but it is not a guarantee to make us successful.

If you are born wealthy, on the other hand, gives you unlimited resources at your disposal to do whatever you want. Usually, rich people also just inherit the established companies of their families and don't even have to start from scratch. They do not have to struggle in making an investment grow since everything is given to them in a silver spoon, and are just trained or taught by their parents how to run the business. Most of the time, the big companies have a lot of employed people and actually doing the work while the wealthy owners just oversee the smooth run of the company. Wealthy families always have a multitude and diversified investments that just earn interest even if they don't do anything. They just accumulate overtime and is usually enough to support them even without working for the rest of their lives. Individuals that are not intelligent don't mean they are stupid. They must probably just have lower intelligence quotient than the so-called geniuses, but they can still learn to do something if they want to. With money, you can have all the resources you need to learn just about anything like hiring a personal tutor to teach you or going to the most exclusive school. Even if you are not intelligent, with practice, dedication, and patience, you can still have the knowledge and be able to learn the things that you need to.

All people strive so hard to study and learn to get ahead in the world to be able to earn money and make their dreams come true. Their main goal is to be successful in order to afford to buy all the comforts and luxuries in life. If you are born wealthy, all this stress can be lifted up your shoulders and you are already way ahead of the normal people, both smart and not-so-smart alike. Knowledge is something that anybody can attain if they put their heart and mind in it, but wealth is something not everybody can get even if they are intelligent.
