Boredom in the bedroom

Boredom in the bedroom...

Is when one or the other spouse searches for a way "not" to go to bed when their spouse does and to creep into bed after they have gone to sleep. Boredom is caused by a lack of interest in a person because their routines are old hat and you know exactly what they are going to wear to bed, what they are going to do; what they are going to say, etc. There's been no flirting to arouse an interest prior to going to bed; no new hair style or sexy outfit to flaunt; no sexy lingerie; not a sign of something new to get excited about; nothing to lure your interest that there's a surprise in store, etc.

After people have shared a bedroom for years, they are going to become bored if there is no interest shown to bring about some changes in the bedroom. It's not that you lose the love you have for your spouse but it is a lack of interest shown on the part of both of you. Everyone on this earth likes a change in their lives and they enjoy something that causes them to get excited about going to bed for the night with each other. Routine is a disaster in a marriage and in the bedroom. Interest and something new causes one to get excited and feel they have something to look forward to...maybe, a challenge, a reward, a tender moment like you've never had before?

Couples need to put some time into finding new adventures to perk up their everyday lives in their marriage and especially in their bedrooms. Men and women needs to look for new and different things to make their lives more enjoyable and exciting. They should always have a date night where they go out by themselves and share their conversations and moments of love with each other. They should also plan get-away trips where one or the other decides where and what type of new things they will do for the week-end. Take time in selecting a romantic place, a nice restaurant, take new bedroom attire, have breakfast in bed, etc. Do it in a different fashion and manner each time and keep each other guessing throughout the week-end...like what's going to happen next. You'll be surprise how you'll look forward to these get-aways.

A couples bedroom should be used for more things than just to go to bed to sleep ...listen to music, have long conversations, choose a romantic movie, watch a special television show you both like, serve a late night snack, etc. This brings about conversation which is vital in a marriage...communication will hold you and your spouse together if you allow each other to know your desires and wishes.
