First of all, most people do not get a Hummer that fell out of the sky. People have to buy them, therefore when a person decides to purchase a hummer, chances are they will perform a test drive, or several test drives to help them make the final decision to purchase one of these unique vehicles.
When people test drive a Hummer they should notice if they are able to see clearly out of the vehicle while driving. Just because a few people may not be able to judge or see out of a vehicle does not mean there are not those individuals with better driving abilities or experience to adjust themselves in order to be able to have a clear view.
Outlawing a vehicle such as a Hummer because some people cannot see and judge these vehicles as being too large for the road, are completely out of line. There are many extras such as suspension and body lift kits that can be purchases to make any truck or suv able to go off road. These kits enable the vehicle to have larger tires, and these vehicles can be within state inspection limits regarding to heigth off of the ground, but can require an extra step or two installed on the quarter panel in order for a tall man to climb into.
Suggesting the outlawing of a vehicle such as a factory equipped Hummer is completely ridiculous. The focus of outlawing vehicles needs shifted into keeping vehicle manufacturers in the United States versus sending manufacturing jobs across the globe while hurting the middle class individuals that have kept this country going this long.
On a personal level, there has been a wide array of vehicles listed under my personal vehicles. Each and every vehicle was test driven and the first aspect that was taken into consideration was the blindspots. Experienced drivers or naturally insightful individuals are going to make certain the view is good out of the windows and especially when the vehicle is backing up.
Circumstantially, debates like these are still showing the correct statistic outcome for most of the population. When these outcomes begin to shift, and the ball ends up in the other side of the court, communism will take a hold. Granted this debate is strickly for people's viewings as to how the majority feels about off the wall legislative proposals. As an entire population everyone needs to mind thier personal limits, and allow others with fewer limits to consume the goods in which makes them content.
