How to clean up the spiritual side of your life ~ There have been many, many experiences from the emotional, to the metaphysical, the spiritual and consciousness, within the ascension process. One of my biggest pet peeves since I was a kid, was that people really needed to have a better sense of their human behavior. As a kid, I remember wondering why my parents didn't just sit down and talk to each other instead of accessing the pressure valve to violence or verbal abuse.

By the time I was in my late 20s, heading into my 30s and journeying on the path to spirituality, still I was not let off of the hook to my human behavior. As a teacher of consciousness, teacher to my inner student and an empath, I would soon learn that in order for my psychic and intuitive awareness to have a strong foundation for channeling through me, my human side, attitude, behavior, emotions, thoughts, and feelings would have to be cleaned up, brought into alignment and paid attention to consistently and constantly to keep my spiritual and metaphysical concepts in check and alignment.

In terms of the New Age, Spirituality, Religion and Consciousness, I continue to see how human behavior continues to allow the ego to run, without regard that it is our human behavior that brings clarity into our lives, through our spirituality.

I know that I share this often, to the point of almost breaking the already broken record, but we do need our humanity to heal. As a society, we are not comfortable with emotions and feelings and when we are not comfortable with our emotions and feelings, our metaphysical, spiritual or conscious approach to life has nothing to root onto or anchor to in a balanced and appropriate way.

In order to clean up the spiritual part of our lives, we must start paying attention to our emotions, feelings, thoughts, actions, behaviors, and our words. We must pay attention to how we are feeling at the start of the day and throughout the course of our day. Let's face it; the only way that we are going to man the controls of our physical existence is by knowing how we are feeling on the inside. Monotonous, mundane, practical and boring ~ yes. Is this necessary? Absolutely! It teaches us to slow down, pay attention to our personal boundaries and the energy around us and it also teaches us to take great care in not running on autopilot and dumping our bad mood onto another.

When you think about it; what is the point to bringing a better aspect of religion, metaphysics, spirituality, or consciousness into our lives, if we are going to keep our humanity under the umbrella of not tending to the important parts, that can act as a cohesive part of our lives and bring us to better balance and alignment within our soul's knowing? A mouthful and a mindful to think about.

Cleaning up and clearing the spiritual aspects of our lives, is the only way that we can do better and be the best that we can be. After all, aren't we in physical form and isn't what we are connected to supposed to make our lives better, for ourselves, each other, and for the healing of our fair planet, called Earth.

The choice is ours. Blowing off the important aspects of our lives is easy, comfortable, convenient, and definitely not time consuming. However, what is important to bringing our spirituality into heart-centered alignment will take patience, time, commitment, focus, and much needed discipline.
