Life's little soft spots,
sinking places that weren't there before,
as we one moment stand proud and tall,
just one step away from the fall,
Quicksand pulls us down,
sucks us in til we fear we'll drown
We'll claw and fight,
and struggle back up to where we were,
gaining confidence to stand our ground,
another safe step is found,
But quicksand pull us down,
sucks all in and some will drown,
Life's path all must travel,
with pitfalls where we least expect,
usually when we're feeling solidly tall,
we take that wrong step,
and fall!
Quicksand pulls us down,
sucks most in and many will drown.
