Songs: Hurting love

by Allyn Smith

Created on: August 27, 2009

Across the stain of Violet and Blue
In the valley of eye with crimson's hue
I venture in pain and vulgarity
To regurgitate your piety

You came to me on such harmonious grounds
with delightful vapors and fervent sounds
You held me breathless in chambers of arms
You suckled me in Andromeda's charms

You gave me a ring a home and rich attire
along with your rules, I should duly aspire
to that goodness and compassion from your fist
and everything else on your list

As mongrels have curled toes by which they shove
my vultures have circled the death of love
My Orchids have set out their place to sow
in waters of tears where no crosses grow

Across the stain of violet and blue
a new hope was found quite without you
From the valley of eye, new futures view
I'll NOT be acquainted of you
