What is a an on the go lunch, is hot, cold, packaged, or put in a box? I believe it can be all of them. There are many ways to have food to eat on the go. Some require no time, while others need a few minutes. So depending on how much time you have, depends on the food choice you will eat while on the go to class.
First I'd like to start with the quickest food idea. It is the most basic way to eat on the go. When you have free time before you go to sleep, you could easily make a sandwich. It doesn't require much time to put peanut butter and jelly on two slices of bread. Then as your running out the door, you can also enjoy a sandwich while going to class. Secondly you can make a bowl of cereal in a Gatorade or Powerade bottle and dink it as your on your way to class. You could also set the coffee pot to to a certain alarm time which starts up 20 minutes before class, instead of using coffee, you load the actual pot with a Raman noodle chicken bullion and noodles. It will start cooking and by the time you leave you have Raman noodles.
Onward to more slow cooking processes while still quick and on the go. You could easily throw any microwavable goods into the microwave. Also you could make an egg sandwich, all you have to do is toast the bread and crack an egg on a frying pan, just remember to flip it.
Time for the slowest of them all, you could cook a meal the night before and take it the next day for lunch. You could make things like spaghetti salad, or order a pizza and take it cold the next day. All of these require time that is dedicated to food.
In college, you are either doing two things, either driving to school, or living on campus. Although most assume living at home while going to college means this person is never eating on the go. That is a lie, the people who drive to college simply eat while driving to school. Most people only see that the students who live on campus are more inclined to eat on the go. This is because they don't have to drive to their classes they simply walk. When they walk with food in their hands there is no way to conceal the food, where as the students who drive can put it on their lap and still be heading closer to their destination.
Over time you can learn many tricks to cooking quickly while eating gourmet. Fast meals help nourish the body of a determined person. As all life moves on use these tips so you don't slow down and get run over by this fast society.
