Turn The Pages of My Book That You Missed While Away.
Turn the pages of my book
that you missed while away.
My two sisters came back together,
now the three of us make a new triangle.
My two brothers see each of them
in a different light,
they too make triangles now.
My son, his lovely wife, and I
are learning to create a new
triangle-we will succeed.
My brothers see me as very deep
and daring, now I appreciate
our triangles even more.
My lovely Mike,
now in God's arms,
brings our triangle
closer to my earthly heart.
Kevin and I are slowly adding
lovely persons to our lives,
making triangles.
Oh yea, he and the dog
and I have become a better
triangle.
I learned through feeling everything
that we make our world ugly.
I know we are the ones who have to fix it
by fixing ourselves.
I learned I am as truthful a person as one can be,
while truth be ugly, hidden truth is uglier.
I know my truth shall set me free.
I learned that I loved my friend more
deeply than even I realized. I know
my friend cares for me.
I learned there is beauty indescribable
in insanity. I know I never want to
go there again.
I learned my God is forever
and always with me,
even when I deny.
I know I will never deny again.
I learned God does indeed work
in mysterious ways. I know
there's not a damn thing I can
do about it, but let it happen.
I learned to face my fears.
I know I'm ready to roll.
Will you roll with me?
