I stay awake so long so I can breathe
Lying in this dream, tossed upon the ocean
Crashing down. memories vanish
Disapperance of loved ones, neglect
Seeing true eyes staring me down
Wondering if this is what I found
All those years, searching
All those years, abusing
All those years, lying
To Myself
I stay asleep as long as I can dream
Falling around, hopeless and aimlessly
Rising above the negative mind
A shimmering glimpse of remembrance there
Hiding all of my thoughts
Why am I still pondering
All those years, reaching out
All those years, trying my best
All those years, crying
To Myself.
