Another page, another pain
Why do I write to keep me sane
Here today, you are gone tomorrow
Never know when my goodbye is the last, our time so borrowed
Spending nights with you makes me feel so alive
Then the next day I am stuck with why
So many people for me to give my heart
And you keep breaking it, ripping it apart
But I come back time after time
Traveling across the country, am I out of my mind
To come back and be promised something new
If I could only explain my view
I see things that remind me of before
But you convinced me to come back to your door
Now I'm left alone, feeling abandoned, played out
All my loved consumed by so much doubt
That you could mean what you say to me
When your actions take away the love I see
I'm just your support, somewhere to lean
When everyone else in your life is being so mean
But just as quick as you come crying back to my arms
You've escaped to a happiness, surrounded by harm
Why do I come back here looking for your love
Why do I search for answers from above
So when you go away last time again today
I search in my heart for the right thing to say
To show you how my love for you is so right
As I sit here alone and think of you tonight.
