_The Dragon's Ruby _
Once upon a time, in a land far, far away: there was a beautiful kingdom filled with happy villagers, a king, a princess, and a very dark secret
Years ago, Princess Belle's father had told her never to set foot in the basement, and now that he was finally gone (out on some royal business) the curiosity suppressed inside her finally had a chance to break free.
So on she went, down into the basement where a beautiful ruby immediately attracted her eye. It was mounted on a wall and she thought it would look absolutely stunning in her room. However, upon touching it, a giant door opened and a bright light flew towards her.
Now, her whole head was filled with a horrible smell, so naturally, she opened her eyes to investigate and found she was staring at the huge backside of a dragon. And with that, a barely audible cry escaped her. But none the less, the dragon swung it's mighty head around and their eyes met.
Meanwhile, in the castle, once the king returned to find his daughter missing and the door to the basement open, he deduced that his daughter had been taken by Trogdor the Dragon. So he held a contest to see who could save and in turn marry Belle. The winner was a handsome peasant named Macon. Macon was given The Sword of Elements and he set off on his journey.
To find where Trogdor was hiding, Macon summoned the wind with the sword to search the mountains. On his way to Trogdor's hideout, he was delayed by a giant bush of thorns, so he summoned fire and burnt it all down.
After completing his ascent of the mountain, Macon found Trogdor and they started a vicious duel. As Trogdor swung his claws toward his enemy, Macon used the sword to summon rock to protect himself. Enraged by this trickery, Trogdor attempted to end the battle quickly by breathing fire, but his plan backfired when Macon summoned water: the water shot towards Trogdor -putting out the fire- and went down his throat, choking him. As the dragon struggled, Macon leaped towards him and took off his head.
Following this, Macon escorted Belle down the mountain to her kingdom where soon thereafter they were married, and they lived happily ever after.
