This year may be one of the most entertaining to watch seasons in the history of college football. Last year the three players with the most heisman votes were all quarterbacks and the best part is that they are all coming back next year! All three have great teams and it will be a fight to the end to determine who will have the championship trophy, and who will have the hiesman trophy. These three will be on everyone's radar for the coming season but there are many players to watch.

Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow is returning from a championship team. He already has a hiesman and he is returning to win another. His future in the NFL is unsure so this season is one more thing that owners will look at when thinking about drafting him next year. Be cure to watch this determined quarterback.

Sam Bradford

Sam Bradford is the quarterback for the Oklahoma Sooners. Last year he won the hiesman and some were surprised that he came back for another year. There have been speculations as to the offensive line's strength and if these are true, he is going to have a tough time having a successful year.

Colt McCoy

Texas's quarterback Colt McCoy is hungry for a good season because he did not get the hiesman or the championship in 2008. He has a very good team returning and it will be a fun team to watch because they are going to be very good.

Running Backs

There are three small, explosive, quick running backs to watch and they all have fairly good teams around them. They are Jacquizz Rodgers, C.J. Spiller, and DeMarco Murray. Out of these three there will probably the best running back in 2009. The running back that is the favorite to be the best is DeMarco Murray. He has a great team in Oklahoma and he will be explosive and fun to watch.

Julio Jones

Star wide receiver for the Alabama Crimson Tide Julio Jones is as dynamic as they come. He has potential to become that rare combination of size, speed, and great hands. His career has not been that long and already he has drawn comparison to Terrell Owens and Larry Fitzgerald. With Nick Saban coaching him, Julio Jones has the potential to be in the hiesman running. NFL scouts will be at all of this young athlete's games.

Jermaine Gresham

The last player on this list to watch is Jermaine Gresham. Jermaine is a tight end for the Oklahoma Sooners. With Sam Bradford at quarterback, he has a chance to be a real star. Be sure to keep an eye on this NFL bound tight end.
