Unfortunately, our country once again fell for the same old politics as usual. Despite campaigning on change, Obama has brought much of the same to the White House.

In the past several decades, the Republicans and Democrats have tossed the ball back and forth, with both parties repeatedly making the same mistakes. Excessive spending of money, trampling on the Constitution, not reading bills, being influenced by special interests, lying, and more have been their specialty.

Obama is no exception. Though he promised many changes in his campaign, he has failed to make any noteworthy changes. That's because, he, like almost every other leader on Capitol Hill, is cut from the same cloth.

Will Obama improve the country? No. In fact, he has indicated that he will only make it worse. Check out the projected budgets. If anyone is trying to topple our tower of debt, look no further than the White House and Congress. At a time when the dollar is under significant stress, we are piling more weight on, which will bring either significant inflation or very high taxes.

Obama is expanding the already overstretched role of the federal government further. Now he wants to add, among other things, nationalized health care, even though the government health care services we have are bankrupt.

The basic problem is that Americans continue electing crooks into office- crooks that listen to special interests and allow corporate cronies to influence them. Most politicians, by their actions, show they love power and money more than upholding the Constitution.

Career politicians - that's part of the problem. They have not had much experience living the American life and encountering the various problems we face. They have not had to show a profit, they just spend other people's money. Long term power corrupts. When money walks in the door logic walks out. We must bring term limits to Congress. We must take away the incentives that keep the crooks in office.

If the two major parties don't put up a decent candidate, vote for a 3rd party. For far too long we have been fine picking the lesser of the two evils. For too long we have voted for the candidates with the most money. We have bypassed many good leaders in doing so. So who will improve the country? You will when you start electing Washington outsiders that are constitutionally sound, and those who have not spent their entire careers in politics.
