Poetry: Tramps & vagabonds

by Linda Bayley-Brown

Created on: August 25, 2009

Streets his hallways
Grass his carpet
Birds his guests
They sing duets
Benches for fasting
Dustbins his larder
His means of survival
Life's getting harder
Meths his water
Scraps his dinner
His life's hopeless
Classed as a sinner
The world passes by
People caring none
Their world their own
His has gone...!
