The beauty of undying love
is only temporary.
The innocence of love's first kiss,
is only momentary.
All it takes,
is wrong words spoken,
and it brakes,
all that was unbroken.
What was and is
can be undone so fast,
so don't hold on,
the past is the past.
Not a thing in this world
can last forever,
nothing,
but the promise of never

Drenching the paper,
It's just my fears
Gathering pain into vapor.
It's just a thought,

Some might say life has a way
of messing everything up
from the disenchanted delusions of success
to the promise of true love

Everything they'd fixed
From where they'd come
Until this new day.
Emotions jumbled
Can every spoken word
be taken back and be undone?
Can I tip-toe across the room
and lay my beating heart
