Walls;
Painted lines on the map of the world, cutting the cake, nations are born. Transparent walls that hold us at bay,
FORT MATANZAS
My head rested against
cold slabs of coquina,
Separation of fort and ocean.
My shoulder, I held

Green, blue, and white
Walls are outta sight
Short, tall, and wide
Walls just blow my mind
Keepin' things out
