What Is Twitter All About?

In brief, Twitter is a social media channel whereby you share anything, that can be solely yourself or business-related, to your followers or in the Public Timeline, all within 140 characters or less. Therefore to construct a sentence that says it all take a bit of brain racking.

You can also consider Twitter as a form of SMS conservation between you and your friends. Like a SMS format, you type your message, key in your contacts, send and your friends will get it!

Twitter copies this format but does it better, not only your friends (or followers) get it, your message will be available in the Public Timeline (consider as as a BillBoard with all the instant updates) and your message is searchable as well by whosoever is interested in a certain topic or keyword.

If your message contains the information that they need, you may get a follower who will be interested in what you will be posting next or that your link will be clicked at.
