Why we make mistakes

Mistakes, a question, these are relative to being human. Yet being human is still an unanswered question itself. To make a mistake is arguably subjective because there are those that are obvious, and then there are those that are subjective.

For Example, A teenage boy in love with his teenage girl friend. Yet the young ladies parents are not happy with her choice of boy friends so they call the police and charge him with statutory rape and/or assault. The boy is 17 and the girl is 15. The state steps in charges the boy as an adult. He get three years probation and a lifetime label as a pedophile. How many mistakes are there in this, and did the children make any, other than getting caught in each others arms?

The order of magnitude of understanding mistakes within human affairs has never been understood and at best I can only scratch the surface. So I will take you from the world of human affairs and look at this simply. Are their any types of mistakes? How are they associated to each other? What can we do to understand them and how they relate to us?

There are types of mistakes. When I was a child my father told me that there are lots of mistakes one can make and it is nearly impossible to go through life without making a mistake but the only mistake he wanted me to be mindful of was making the same mistake twice. I was left confused because I was 7. I am now 40 and a little more of an understanding. In type I broke the types of mistakes into 6 different categories that have universal implications.

The first was called, "The spill milk mistake." This is defined this way because it refers to all mistakes that can be fixed on the spot. These mistakes are annoying and in many cases ignored because they are frivolous. However, there is a small secret behind them. They accumulate. Think of it like not cleaning your room. The longer you don't clean they longer it is going to take to clean it. One might think not cleaning is not a mistake but leave your house a mess and see what you think when it comes time to clean it.

The second is called, "The broken bone mistake." This mistake is more serious because no matter what it takes time to fix or correct this mistake. Much in the way bones need 6 weeks to heal. A violation of trust takes time to earn back. most laws fall into this category.

The third is called, "The Catastrophe." This is the one mistake you want to avoid above all. It is simple but its impact is infinite. Typically, this mistakes
