Poetry: Desire

by GW Michaels

Created on: August 23, 2009

Desire;

Sail upon a tranquil sea, waves slapping beneath my feet.

Doors open in a mind be brave, desires fill a would be grave.

A trillion stars light up the sky at night.

Reflected winks of hope, in twilight.

Thoughts racing through my mind in the deep.

Memories fill my sails, so tall and sleek.

Set a course to places never been, a fiery ball at worlds end.

Reaching up from the depths below, a mind wonders, desires blow.

Can you hear desires beckoning call? three wishes left, for one and all.
